Nils Bothmann

Dr. Nils Bothmann is the third-party funding acquisition officer at the ifs Internationale Filmschule Köln. Furthermore, he is part of the research group on gender and diversity. He studied English, history and theatre, film & TV studies at the University of Cologne and has a PhD in English. His dissertation was published as Action, Detection and Shane Black. Antiessentialist Genre Theory and Its Application in 2018. His research interests include genre theory, action movies, gender and crime fiction.
