Eva Maria Bäcker

Dr. Eva Maria Bäcker is passionate about virtual learning. Her mission is to promote intercultural and sustainable ways of online education. Eva studied sociology, psychology and ethnology in Munich before becoming a certified e-facilitator and intercultural trainer. Her focus lies on qualitative research methods and education & science management. She is conducting academic research on internationalisation of higher education and intercultural competence in Sub-Saharan Africa. As the instructional design officer at the ifs internationale filmschule köln, she leads the online teaching research group of the future.film.education project.
